Sweet Confections Photography will be re-locating to upstate New York late June. I am currently booking in Olympia through June 16th and my schedule is nearly full. If you would like a session after that date, I will refer you to my assistant who I have been training to start her own business when I leave.
Child sessions with Sweet Confections Photography are fun and relaxed, never rushed! Kids have fun choosing hats, headbands, pettiskirt tutus, and fun props to interact with. We're all about getting geniune smiles and capturing their unique personalities. Sessions take place in our boutique studio with a vast selection of backdrops and props. If weather permits we can also do some outdoor shots in our outdoor space here at the studio. If you would like your session to be entirely outdoors you can book an outdoor session at the Olympia location of your choice for an extra $25. These sessions take about one hour and result in approximately 30 edited images. This session includes a couple parent shots if desired. Add siblings for just $25 each. This will result in more time and 10-20 more images per added child. All sessions include a pre-session email or phone consultation so we can be sure to get a feel for your style and get exactly what you want from your session.
I take a limited number of sessions each week so that I can devote adequate time to each client (Sweet Confections Photography is all about creating a custom experience for you so there is a ton of time that goes into creating a session: preparation, the session itself, and post processing are just the beginning.)
I am sometimes able to take last minute sessions but often I am booked 2-3 weeks in advance. It's best to schedule in advance, if you can, to guarantee a spot.
Popular ages for photo shoots:

- When baby is 3-4 months old and holding his or her head up when on tummy
- When baby is 6-7 months old and sitting up
- When baby is 9-10 months old and crawling

***Birthday shoot? Birthday sessions are so much fun! In addition to classic shots and fun prop shots we can also do a cake smash (the best part)! Bring your own cake or order one from Sweet Cakes by Nicole and get 20% off both the cake and your session. Nicole makes beautiful smash cakes and giant cupcakes.
Session Fee: $80
Packages start at $125. I do not sell the DVD of images by itself, largely due to print quality and how I would like my work to be printed. The DVD is however included in some of my larger packages. Most clients spend between $350-$600 on prints/products/dvds for a child session.

Family sessions with Sweet Confections Photography are fun and stress free. Since we specialize in baby and child photography we enjoy working with your children and coaxing out those sweet, genuine smiles. Sessions will result in some classic shots as well as semi-posed candids capturing your family's connection and love as you interact as you truly are. Family sessions can take place in studio or at an outdoor location of your choice in the Olympia area. I can recommend many beautiful locations. Family sessions take about one hour and result in 30-40 edited images. Family sessions include a few shots of each child, but the emphasis is on family shots. All sessions include a pre-session email or phone consultation so we can be sure to get a feel for your style and get exactly what you want from your session. I also go over outfit suggestions and the best places to shop for them.
This type of session is intended for immediate family. For information on extended family sessions please contact me so I can get a feel for how large a group you anticipate.

For a family session clients typically spend between $400-$1,200 depending how many rooms you would like to decorate with the portraits and how large you would like them to be.
