Sweet Confections Photography will be re-locating to upstate New York late June. I am currently booking in Olympia through June 16th and my schedule is nearly full. If you would like a session after that date, I will refer you to my assistant who I have been training to start her own business when I leave.
They don't stay tiny for very long! Make sure to capture that sweet newborn stage in those fleeting first weeks of your baby's life. Create a stunning nursery display, send out boutique birth announcements, share photos with family and friends, and most importantly, preserve all those sweet little details.
Newborn sessions are best done in the first 14 days of life (ideally between 3 and 9 days old).
Newborn sessions take 2-4 hours and result in approximately 30 edited images. Sweet Confections Photography specializes in newborn portraiture and has the largest selection of newborn props in town. As a mom of two little ones, photographer, Jill, knows what today's moms want in their newborn portraiture. She keeps on the cutting edge with new poses, trends, and props, offering a style of photography that is fresh and unmatched by any other photographer in town. Sessions will of course include many classic shots in addition to the fun, unique, and stunning prop shots. Jill's experience and talent at soothing little ones and getting them to sleep through posing makes for a fun, stress-free session for mom and dad and guarantees you will get those beautiful shots you want.
Details and tips for preparing for the newborn session will be emailed to you upon booking.
Newborn sessions are done in studio, with an occasional outdoor shot in our outdoor space should weather permit. If you would like your session to take place in your home this can be done for an additional fee of $50. However, I do have some backdrops that cannot travel. Newborn sessions include parent shots. Add siblings for $25 each (this will include some shots of the siblings individually as well).
I do my best to accommodate last minute newborn sessions but it's best to contact me while you are still pregnant so I can get you on my calendar and guarantee you a spot. We will wait until baby comes to schedule an exact date and time, but by booking your session in advance I know to leave adequate space in my schedule around your due date. I only schedule a limited amount of newborn sessions for each month so to guarantee a spot I recommend booking at least 1-2 months before your due date.
Session fee: $125
Print Packages start at $125. I do not sell the DVD of images by itself, largely due to print quality and how I would like my work to be printed. The DVD is however included in some of my larger packages. Most of my clients spend between $350-$600 on prints/products/dvds from a newborn session. Twin sessions are an additional $45 and the session may take up to 6 hours.

Maternity sessions with Sweet Confections Photography are personalized to you. We will do a pre-session email or phone consultation so I can get a feel for your style and the type of photos you would like. Sessions take between an hour and an hour and a half. They result in approximately 30 edited images.
Session fee: $85
Print Packages start at just $125. Prints can also be ordered a la carte. Clients typically spend between $100-$250 on images from their maternity session.
